The Texas Chapter of AIPG participated in the 10th Annual Hydro-Geo Workshop held in Boerne, Texas, October 17-19. The workshop is held on the grounds of the Cave Without A Name, a park and campground located about 12 miles northeast of Boerne, and hosts about 250 students each year, offering nearly 40 wide-ranging topics of interest to aspiring geoscientists.
AIPG-TX sent two veterans to this gathering, Roger Lee, Ph.D., P.G., C.P.G. and Bruce Handley, P.G., both members of the AIPG-TX Board of Directors. Also in attendance at the workshop was Anna Heikes, a three-time scholarship award recipient from Trinity University, and Roberto Reyna, the current Student Councilor-at-Large for AIPG-TX.
