About the Session
Young geologists: Are you looking for a job or career change?
Experienced geologists: Are you looking for employees or collaborators?
Geology students: Would you like to talk with people already working in the field?
Join the American Institute of Professional Geologists (AIPG) for a free one-hour networking session designed to help geologists build meaningful professional connections and expand their career opportunities in a supportive online environment.
Why Attend?
Most jobs in geology and science come through personal relationships, not job boards. Yet many geologists and students overlook the value of building and maintaining a strong personal network. Networking can feel challenging, and not everyone can attend conferences for in-person networking. But not networking can limit a geologist’s career options.
By joining Geologic Networking Online, you can:
- Build connections from where you are
- Expand your access to resources and career opportunities
- Practice strategies for networking in a comfortable, supportive environment
Discover how AIPG’s online networking initiatives can help you grow your professional community. Whether you are a student, early-career professional, seasoned geologist, AIPG member, or non-member, this session offers valuable insights and practical tools for strengthening your professional network.
Joining Tip
For the best experience, join using the Zoom app rather than a web browser. The browser version is currently having issues with breakout room assignments. If you join through a browser, you must also use the call-in number on your phone for audio so you can be assigned to a breakout room.
Cost: FREE | Registration Required
Once registered, you will receive the webinar access link by email.
